To help add some interesting content to the forum, here is a relevant post to go under Soundtrack. I have taken the text from the YouTube site, which is self-explanatory. The forum is a great place for posting random, relevant pieces of information like this, for other to comment on within a central “Mann Fan” location. Go add your own, for others to benefit.

Michael Mann’s masterpiece movie “Heat”, starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, was originally supposed to end on this piece of original score by composer Eliot Goldenthal. Instead, a special rendition of Moby’s “God Moving Over the face of the Waters” was used. Goldenthal’s theme was then adapted and used for the finale of Neil Jordan’s movie “Michael Collins”, starring Liam Neeson.

Image is an acrylic painting based on the film’s final frame. Music hosted for the curiosity of movie and music fans, and is non-profit.
